General
1. Members of staff shall be trained so that they are aware of the conditions of the operating schedule and their responsibilities under the Licensing Act 2003.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. The premises shall operate a no drugs policy and staff shall be alerted to the need to be vigilent to spot this.
2. The premises shall participate in the local Pub Watch scheme.
3. The premises shall maintain CCTV in working order and retain the record produced by CCTV for at least thirty one days and the recorded images shall be made available to any officer of a responsible authority upon request.
4. Information encouraging responsible drinking and advising of the risks of drink driving and promoting the benefits of designating a driver for the evening shall be available in the premises.
5. There shall be no cut price drinks promotions.
6. Non alcoholic drinks including free water shall be available whenever the premises are open.
7. There shall be waiter/waitress service to customers in the outdoor seating area.
Public Safety
1. There shall be adequate facilities to enable the disabled to use all the facilities within the premises.
2. Staff must be trained in how to deal with evacuation of customers in the case of an emergency.
3. The number of people permitted inside the bar must not exceed a maximum of 250.
4. Only toughened glass shall be used and open bottles shall not be permitted to be removed from the premises.
5. Cigarette and amusement machines shall be under the direct supervision of the bar servery and shall not be permitted to be used by anyone under sixteen and there shall be signage displayed to that effect.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. No music shall be played on the outside seating.
2. Customers shall be required to vacate the outside seating area by 2300.
3. Staff shall request customers enjoying the outside seating area to respect the peace of neighbours.
4. Cutomers shall be asked to be quiet and considerate when leaving the premsies at night.
The Protection of Children From Harm
1. Children under eighteen shall not be allowed (except within the outside seating area) unless accompanied by a responsible adult.
2. Proof of age policy shall be operated whenever the premises are open.
3. Clear signage must state that the sale of alcohol to children is prohibited.
