The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1 CCTV shall be provided and maintained in good working order and in operation 24 hours a day. The tapes from said CCTV must be kept for a period of 31 days to be released where necessary.
2 A panic button connected directly to the police shall be in place as well as a monitored alarm system.
3 Suitable signage must be displayed advising customers to vacate the shop premises quickly and quietly once food is obtained.
4 Two Licensed Door Staff shall be employed from the hours of 23:00hrs until closing whenever the premises is open for business to minimise disturbances.
5 The premises must join and maintain membership of the Nitenet Radio Communications Scheme.
Public Safety
6 Customers must be advised to queue in an orderly fashion whilst waiting for their food and suitable signage must be on display to support this.
7 All fire exits and access routes must be fully illuminated.
8 Fire extinguishers must be provided and maintained.
9 Cooking areas must comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
10 Odour and air contamination must be kept to a minimum, via ventilation systems installed.
11 A fire button connected to the fire station shall be in place in case of fire.
12 Appropriate overhead and floor signage must be displayed to warn customers of any hazards, such as wet floors.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
13 Cooking, noxious or persistent smells shall be kept to minimum through ventilation systems so as not to cause a nuisance to nearby properties.
14 The mechanical extract system installed within the kitchen must operate in a manner so as not to cause a noise or odour nuisance to nearby residents.
15 Bins shall be provided inside and outside of the premises for the disposal of food wrappers.
16 Signs must be displayed at exit points requesting the co-operation of patrons in reducing noise levels.
17 Door staff shall be required to help minimise noise levels, monitor litter levels and report to staff inside the premises.
18 All deliveries must take place during daytime hours.
19 The management must ensure that staff leaving the premises at the close of business do so in an orderly and quiet fashion.
20 Customers shall be encouraged not to congregate outside the premises.
The Protection of Children from Harm
21 There must be no alcohol sales.
22 There must be no hot surfaces near children
3. Cigarette sales are prohibited on the premises.
