The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1 CCTV cameras shall be positioned comprehensively throughout both the Waterleat Road and Borough Road sites with the purpose of deterring crime and disorder on the premises and in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
Public Safety
2 Adequate access must be available for emergency vehicles on both sites.
3 All areas of the premises and sites must be designated ‘No Smoking’ areas.
4 Attendance at performances shall be limited through ticket sales.
5 Cold drinking water must be available on request free of charge.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
6 All activities must cease by 23:00hrs.
7 Noise or vibration will not emanate from the premises so as to cause persons in the neighbourhood to be unreasonably disturbed.
8 A senior member of staff must assess the impact of any noisy activities on neighbouring residential premises at the start of the activity and periodically throughout the activity.
9 Where possible, windows and doors must be kept shut in order to limit the level of noise emanating from the premises.
10 Patrons must be requested to leave the premises quietly and with consideration for residents.
11 Adequate parking facilities shall be provided.
The Protection of Children from Harm
12 The Child Protection policy of the college must be followed.
13 All staff employed at the college must undertake a Criminal Records Bureau check.
14 All volunteers, contractors, peripatetic teachers and visiting performers, who will come into contact with children, must be subject to CRB checks.
15 The college ICT policy must be followed.
