The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1 A clear and legible notice must be displayed outside the premises, indicating the normal hours during which licensable activities are permitted.
2 A clear and legible notice must be displayed stating that persons leaving the premises will be reminded to conduct themselves in an orderly manner and in no way cause annoyance to residents or persons passing by.
3 Tills shall be removed at the close of business and empty till drawers left on display.
Public Safety
4 All parts of the premises and fittings shall be maintained at all times in good order.
5 Seating must ensure a clear and unobstructed access to all exits.
6 All parts of the premises must be adequately illuminated, in the event of failure the public shall be required to leave the premises.
7 Smoking must be prohibited in public areas.
8 Adequate safe evacuation procedures for disabled patrons shall be in place.
9 A first aid box must be provided.
10 Suitable signage must be provided to caution against wet floors.
11 A fire precaution policy must be available and staff training given.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
12 Noise or vibration must not emanate from the premises such as to cause persons to be unreasonably disturbed.
13 All rubbish produced must be secured in designated areas in bins with tight fitting lids.
14 Cooking smells must not cause a nuisance to any properties.
15 Bottle disposal must be conducted during daylight hours.
16 The mechanical extract system installed within the kitchen must operate in a manner so as not to cause a noise or odour nuisance to nearby residents.
The Protection of Children from Harm
17 The sale of alcohol to persons under the age of 18 must be prevented in accordance with the Torbay ‘Statement of Licensing Policy’.
18 Staff must be suitably trained to prevent the sale of alcohol to under 18’s.
19 Children under the age of 12 shall not be permitted on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.
20 Children may only be permitted to partake in family occasions when consuming food.
