Restrictions transferred from the Club Premises Certificate
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours.
The above restriction does not prohibit:
(a) during the first twenty minutes after the above hours, the taking of the alcohol from the premises, unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel;
(b) the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered;
(c) the sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club;
(d) the sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty’s naval, military or air forces;
Alcohol shall not be sold in an open container or be consumed on the licensed premises.
Credit Sales
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied unless it is paid for before or at the time when it is sold or supplied, except alcohol sold or supplied to a canteen or mess.
General

The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. There shall be a strict code of conduct administered by the committee, breach of which can lead to expulsion and/or suspension.
2. The access points to the club must be visible to staff employed behind the bar.
3. The steward shall be empowered to deal with potential problems in such a manner as is considered appropriate to the circumstances.
4. The club must maintain an appropriate and safe occupancy level.
5. All persons using the club must be known to be members, with the committee members making checks where appropriate.
Public Safety

The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. The steward and the committee must govern the volume controls.
2. Where music is provided the windows facing the adjacent properties must be closed and the door between the entrance and the front lobby must also be closed.
3. All disposable bottles shall be kept within the club until they are placed in the receptacle provided for the public (bottle bank). This shall be carried out when the steward is on the premises.
The Protection of Children from Harm
1. Only members children shall be permitted in the clubhouse.
2. Known minors must not be served and if there is doubt suitable identification must be sought. In the absence of proof of age alcohol must not be served.
3. Children under the age of 14 must not be permitted to enter the bar area and a notice to this effect must be displayed.
4. The Club shall abide by the child protection guidance given by the English and Welsh cricket board.
5. Appropriate Child Protection officials must be in place.
