Restrictions transferred from the Club Premises Certificate
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours.
The above restriction does not prohibit:
(a) during the first twenty minutes after the above hours, the taking of the alcohol from the premises, unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel;
(b) the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered;
(c) the sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club;
(d) the sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty’s naval, military or air forces;
Alcohol shall not be sold in an open container or be consumed on the licensed premises.
Credit Sales
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied unless it is paid for before or at the time when it is sold or supplied, except alcohol sold or supplied to a canteen or mess.
General
1. A noise limiter shall be fitted.
2. A key fob system must be provided for entry.
3. Prominent notices must be displayed asking members to leave quietly.
4. Adequate emergency lighting must be provided in the bar area to assist in escape from the lounge in case of fire.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. A key fob system must be installed which only admits members to the club.
2. The Club Certificate shall be mounted in the foyer.
3. CCTV must be provided and maintained in good working order to monitor the entrance and the upstairs games room.
4. No junior member must be permitted without the accompaniment of a responsible adult.
5. Suitable signage must be displayed informing members that they will be barred for bad behaviour or swearing.
Public Safety
1. Appropriate fire alarm systems and equipment must be provided and annually tested.
2. Suitable signage and emergency lighting must be provided over each fire exit.
3. Adequate first aid equipment and an accident book must be provided.
4. The building shall be fully air-conditioned and smoke filters shall be provided and maintained in the bars.
5. A CO2 Alarm shall be fitted in the cellar.
6. Appropriate access shall be provided for wheelchair users.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. A sign must be displayed asking members to leave the premises quietly and not to hang around outside.
2. Rubbish from the premises must not be placed outside at the end of the night, but on the following morning.
3. A noise limiter shall be fitted.
4. Air conditioning units shall be installed at the rear of the premises where there are no residential properties.
The Protection of Children from Harm
1. Children under the age of 14 are not permitted on the premises, with the exception of training nights (4 per year) or when they may have a fish to weigh in.
2. Notices must be displayed which state that children must not go near the bar area.
3. Where training is carried out in the upstairs games room the bar in this part of the premises must remain closed.
4. Junior members over the age of 14 may only be admitted to the bar where accompanied by a responsible adult.
