1. No entry or re-entry to premises after 12:00 midnight.
Public Safety
Definition:
All references to striptease, nudity, wearing of see through material, lap dancing, table dancing and pole dancing and entertainment of a similar nature shall be referred to in these conditions as the “approved adult entertainment”.
1 The “approved adult entertainment “ shall be given only by the performers/entertainers and the audience shall not be permitted to participate.
2 No persons other than the dancers engaged in the “approved adult entertainment” shall be in the licensed area in a state of undress.
3 There shall be no physical contact between customers and the dancers other than detailed in condition 9.
4 Performers will only perform in a designated or demarked area or in such other areas of the licensed premises as has been agreed.
5 “Approved adult entertainment” shall not be visible from outside the premises.
6 Any person who can be seen from outside the premises shall be decently dressed.
7 Customers shall remain seated whilst watching a performance of “approved adult entertainment”.
8 Except as permitted by condition 9 below, the licensee shall not encourage, or permit encouragement to be made to the audience to throw money at or otherwise to give gratuities to the performers.
9 The only time physical contact is allowed with a customer during “approved adult entertainment” is when the performer introduces him/herself (handshake/kiss on the cheek) at the start of the performance and again at the conclusion of the performance; or when a tip is placed in the garter (female) or arm band (males). There shall be no other form of contact.
10 Lap dancing/ table dancing entertainment under this consent may be provided solely by dancers to customers seated at tables.
11 There shall be no private booths or performing areas provided on the premises.
12 No photographic, filming, recording or electronic transmission of performances shall take place without the prior consent of the Licensing Authority.
13 The proprietor/director of the company is to ensure that prior to engagement, all performers for “approved adult entertainment” shall provide documents proving that they are over 18 years of age. Such documents are to be copied and retained on the performers file.
14 Whilst “approved adult entertainment” takes place not less than 2 door supervisors shall be employed in that part of the premises used for “approved adult entertainment”.
15 There shall be no physical contact between dancers whilst performing “approved adult entertainment”.
16 No performer shall give or accept telephone numbers from members of the audience.
17 No performer shall be allowed to work if, in the judgement of the management, they appear to be intoxicated, or under the influence of illegal substances.
18 No customer shall be admitted to the premises if, in the judgement of the management, they appear to be intoxicated, or under the influence of illegal substances.
19 No person other than performers and authorised staff shall be permitted in the changing room/s whilst the premises are being used for “approved adult entertainment”.
20 Whilst “approved adult entertainment” is taking place, no person under the age of 18 will be allowed onto that part of the premises and a clear notice shall be displayed at each entrance to the premises in a prominent position so that it can be easily read by persons entering the premises with the following words:
NO PERSON UNDER THE AGE OF 18 WILL BE ADMITTED
21 A copy of the following Rules shall be clearly displayed on each table and each bar area.
(a) No person under the age of 18 shall be admitted to the premises.
(b) The only time any physical contact will be allowed between a performer and a customer is when the performer introduces him/herself with a handshake/kiss or when a tip is placed in the garter or armband. Other than that, there shall be no contact.
(c) No member of the audience shall throw money or otherwise give gratuities to the performers except as permitted in section (b) above.
(d) There shall be no physical participation by any member of the audience.
(e) No customer shall accept from or give to any performer or member of staff any telephone number, business card or note.
(f) Customers are not permitted to photograph, record, film or electronically transmit any performer.
(g) Customers shall remain seated whilst watching a performance of “approved adult entertainment”.
22. A clear copy of these conditions and the House Rules shall be exhibited at all times in or near the performers changing room/s in such a manner that they can be read by the performers. These conditions shall be protected against theft, damage or defacement.
23. Performers may not;
(a) Climb onto furniture provided for patrons.
(b) Simulate sex acts.
(c) Remain in a state of undress when they have completed their act.
24. To ensure that no performer makes any arrangement to meet a customer, management must ensure that the performers utilise safe transport away from the club.
25. The performer shall be escorted by a committee member from Paignton Cricket Club between the changing room and the place of performance.
26. The performance of “approved adult entertainment” shall take place on no more than one occasion per month, limited to four per year.
The Protection of Children from Harm
22 People under 18 years of age will not be admitted or take part in any adult entertainment.
23 Door supervision will be used when adult entertainment events are taking place.
24 Age identification procedures will apply to anyone (including staff) who appears under the age of 18 years.
25 Clear signage that entertainment is taking place that is not suitable for people under 18 years of age will be used.
