The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. Noise or vibration shall not emanate from the premises such as to cause persons in the neighbourhood to be unreasonably disturbed. Noise should not be audible within any noise sensitive premises with windows open for normal ventilation especially after 11pm. The criteria applied, from boundary to nearest residential property are;
(i) Before 11pm - Noise emanating from the premises shall not be clearly distinguishable above other noise.
(ii) After 11pm - Noise emanating from the premises shall not be distinguishable above background levels of noise.
(iii) The Local Authority shall reserve the right in cases of tonal noise and where premises are attached to others (i.e. semi's and terraced properties) to make further assessments from within the residential property.
2. Amplified live music shall cease at 23:30 hours.
3. All doors and windows facing noise sensitive dwellings shall remain closed during the period of any entertainment taking place.
4. Consumption of alcohol in the area marked 'B' on the attached plan, shall cease at 22.00 hours unless altered by a Temporary Event Notice.
5. There shall be no consumption of alcohol on the hatched area in the area marked 'B' on the plan attached at any time when the premises are open to the public.
6. Smoking after 22.00 hours shall be restricted to the area marked 'A' on the plan attached.
7. The Club Committee shall use its reasonable endeavours to ensure that patrons on or leaving the Premises shall conduct themselves in an orderly manner, including by:
i. Suitable signage being displayed at the exits and within both courtyards requesting that patrons keep noise levels to a minimum, when on or leaving the Premises and that the use of offensive language, such as to cause nuisance and disturbance to nearby residents, will not be tolerated and may lead to expulsion by the club.
ii. Suitable signage being displayed at the exits to the Premises and the courtyards stating that unless authorised, there shall be no removal of glasses from which drinks are consumed from the Premises.
iii. Suitable signage being displayed at the exits to the Premises asking Patrons not to stand around in the street outside the Premises and to leave the Premises quickly and quietly.
8. The Club Committee shall at all times ensure that noise shall not emanate from the Premises such as to cause persons in the neighbourhood to be unreasonably disturbed.
9. The volume of amplified noise emanating from the premises shall at all times be under the control of the Club Committee.
