  CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE

  Restrictions transferred from the Club Premises Certificate

   

  Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours.

   

  The above restriction does not prohibit:
   

  (a)               during the first twenty minutes after the above hours, the taking of the alcohol from the premises, unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel;
   

  (b)               the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered;
   

  (c)               the sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club;
   

  (d)               the sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty’s naval, military or air forces;

   

  Alcohol shall not be sold in an open container or be consumed on the licensed premises.

   

  Credit Sales

   

  Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied unless it is paid for before or at the time when it is sold or supplied, except alcohol sold or supplied to a canteen or mess.

  The Prevention of Crime and Disorder

   

  1.                A card entry system must be provided and maintained.

   

  Public Safety

   

  1.               Fire warning system and escape lighting system must be in place.

   

  2.               Push bars must be provided for designated fire exit doors.

   

  3.               Fire fighting equipment must be provided and maintained.

   

  4.               The log book must be kept updated.

   

  The Prevention of Public Nuisance

   

  1.               Suitable notices must be placed adjacent to the exits reminding patrons to leave quietly.

   

  2.               A public address announcement shall be made reminding patrons to leave quietly.

   

  3.               Dray lorry deliveries must only be made after 09:00hrs.

   

  4.               Rubbish must be moved one night a week before 20:00hrs.

   

  5.               The windows onto the street must be UPVC.

   

  The Protection of Children From Harm

   

  1.               The club shall be for members.

   

  2.               Children must only be permitted under adult supervision.

   

  3.               Suitable signage must be displayed on or near to the cigarette machine ('No Under 16's')

  CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY

  1.               No person to be admitted to the premises after midnight.

   

  The Protection of Children from Harm

   

  1.               All cigarette vending machines must be sited to ensure they are under the direct supervision of the staff at all times.

   

  2.               A management system is introduced to ensure that staff are aware of the legal requirements relating to underage sales and in particular the prevention of sales from cigarette vending machines to children under sixteen.
