The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. Custom must not be coaxed from outside the premises.
2. All cash tills must be removed at the end of business and the till drawers must be left open.
3. The times at which the premises opens and closes must be clearly displayed.
4. Outside lighting must be provided and maintained.
5. Alcohol sales are prohibited.
Public Safety
1. Fire equipment (extinguishers) requirements must be met.
2. All hot surfaces must be behind the counter.
3. Public Liability insurance must be in place.
4. Where appropriate floor cleaning signs must be used.
5. Food hygiene certificates must be obtained.
6. A no smoking policy must be followed.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. All rubbish must be stored in bins and suitable collection contracts maintained.
2. Extraction fans must not be in operation outside of opening hours.
The Protection of Children from Harm
1. All hot surfaces must be out of the reach of the public.
2. Alcohol sales must be prohibited.
