The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. There shall be a notice on the exit door and in club asking members to respect neighbours and be quiet when leaving the club.
2. All money and till drawers shall be locked in the safe at end of business.
3. Alarm and security lights shall be checked yearly by Sound and Visual.
Public Safety
1. Emergency exits shall be unobstructed at all times.
2. The first aid box shall be behind the bar.
3. Fire safety equipment shall be checked by Chubb.
4. Lights shall be at all exit doors.
5. There shall be a working fire certificate.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. Windows and doors shall be closed when entertainment is on in the club, especially after 11pm. The volume control for the jukebox shall be behind the bar.
2. A Committee Member shall be present in the club when there is a function.
3. Members and visitors shall be asked to be quiet when leaving the club, so there is no distress caused to the neighbours.
4. The bags containing rubbish, cans, bottles etc, shall be left in the club and dealt with by the bar steward the next morning.
5. If anybody under 18 are attending a private party, the responsible adult caring for them shall be asked to keep that young person under control, so they do not cause a nuisance to other members of the club.
The Protection of Children From Harm
1. There shall be no cigarette sales.
2. Anyone who appears to be under the age of 18 shall be asked for suitable ID and all staff shall be trained in these procedures.
