  ANNEXE 1

   

   

•  

  MANDATORY CONDITION: DOOR SUPERVISION

   

  1)       Where one or more individuals are carrying out security activities, each individual must be licensed by the Security Industry Authority.

   

  2)       But nothing in the aforementioned conditions requires such a condition to be imposed in respect of a) and b) and (b)(i) and (b)(ii)

   

  ()        in respect of premises within paragraph 8(3)(a) of Schedule 2 to the Private Security Industry Act 2001 (c. 12) (premises with premises licences authorising plays or films), are exempt.
   

  ()        In respect of premises in relation to-

  ()        any occasion mentioned in paragraph 8(3)(b) or (c) of that Schedule (premises being used exclusively by club with club premises certificate, under a temporary event notice authorising plays or films or under a gaming licence), or

  ()        any occasion within paragraph 8(3)(d) of that Schedule (occasions prescribed by regulations under that Act).

   

  3)              For the purposes of the aforementioned conditions:-

   

  ()        “security activity” means an activity to which paragraph 2(1)(a) of that Schedule applies, and
   

  ()         paragraph 8(5) of that Schedule (interpretation of references to an occasion) applies as it applies in relation to paragraph 8 of that Schedule.

  ANNEXE 2

   

  CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE

   

•  

  General

   

  1.               CCTV must be provided and maintained in good working immediately outside the premises.

   

  2.               Fire safety equipment (fire blankets and fire extinguishers) must be inspected and maintained.

   

  The Prevention of Crime and Disorder

   

  1.               Good communication shall be kept with Police and Security personnel.

   

  2.               'A' boards must be placed inside the premises after 23:00hrs.

   

  Public Safety

   

  1.               Litter must be cleared from outside of the premises at all times.

   

  2.               Safety cones must be used where appropriate.

   

  3.               All rubbish must be left in a suitable place for collection.

   

  The Prevention of Public Nuisance

   

  1.               Discretion and awareness must be used when encouraging the public to leave as quickly and quietly as possible.

   

  2.               Any noise must be limited.

   

  3.               Consideration must be given to local residents.

   

  The Protection of Children from Harm

   

  1.               Staff must be encouraged to be aware of all children and act accordingly to ensure all children are protected.

  ANNEXE 3

   

  CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY

   

•  

  The Prevention of Crime and Disorder

   

  1.              A CCTV system of an evidential standard to be installed to the satisfaction of the police, and the system to be in operation at all times the premises are open to the public. All recordings from that system to be kept for a period of 31 days and the police to have access to recordings at any reasonable time.

   

  2.              On every occasion that the premises remains open after midnight an SIA door steward to be employed from 23:00hrs until closing.

   

  3.              Premises to join and maintain membership of the Nitenet Radio Communications Scheme.

   

  4.              No drinks to be served to the public in glass bottles after23:00hrs.

   

  The Prevention of Public Nuisance

   

  1.              Cooking, noxious or persistent smells from the premises will not cause a nuisance to nearby properties and the premises must be properly vented.

   

  2.              Provision of mechanical ventilation and air conditioning system will not allow noise breakout from the premises or cause a nuisance by its operation.

   

  3.              Regular maintenance will be carried out on all plant machinery to ensure that noise disturbance is kept to a minimum.

   

  4.              The movement of bins and rubbish outside the premises will be kept to a minimum after 23:00hrs. This will help to reduce the levels of noise produced by the premises.
