  MANDATORY CONDITION:  EXHIBITION OF FILMS

   

  1)       Where the film classification body is specified in the licence, admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by that body.

   

  2)       Where -

   

  ()        the film classification body is not specified in the licence, or
   

  ()        the relevant licensing authority has notified the holder of the licence that this condition applies to the film in question,
   

  admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by that licensing authority.

   

  In the case of the aforementioned conditions

                “children” means persons aged under 18; and

                “film classification body” means the person or persons designated as the authority under section 4 of the Video Recordings Act 1984 (authority to determine suitability of video works for classification).

  ANNEXE 2

   

  CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE

   

•  

  General

   

  1.               Church events shall be under the control of responsible church members

   

  2.               Reasonable care shall be taken to ensure that the Hall is only hired to responsible groups or individuals.

   

  The Prevention of Crime and Disorder

   

  1.              While the Hall is in use adequate lighting levels must be maintained in the vicinity of entrances               and exits.

   

  2.              CCTV cameras installed in St. Mary's Square shall cover the area of the Church lych gate.

   

  Public Safety

   

  1.              All exits must be kept unlocked and free from obstruction whilst the premises is in use.

   

  2.              Emergency lighting and illuminated exit signs must be installed.

   

  3.              Fire alarms and sensors must cover the whole of the premises.

   

  4.              Recommended fire extinguishers must be provided and regularly maintained.

   

  The Prevention of Public Nuisance

   

  1.              Sound proofing shall be provided in the Hall.

   

  2.              No windows or doors shall face directly onto neighbouring property.

   

  The Protection of Children from Harm

   

  1.              Those involved in organising activities specifically for children must be required to obtain CRB               clearance.

   

  2.              Special Risk Entertainment must not be permitted on the premises.

   

  3.              Children must not be permitted in the kitchen
