The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. All events must be regulated with appropriate opening and closing times.
2. Events must only be open to parents and friends of the school. Entry shall be closely monitored.
3. Any inappropriate behaviour shall be dealt with promptly.
Public Safety
1. Fire safety measures must be appropriate and fire equipment logs must be kept.
2. Fire risk assessments must be carried out.
3. The occupancy of the premises must be kept to a safe number in line with the type of event and disposition of the people.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. Music must be kept to an acceptable level
2. Local residents shall be notified of the event.
3. Times of events shall be strictly adhered to.
The Protection of Children from Harm
1. Steps must be taken to prevent the sale/consumption of alcohol by those under 18. Signs must be made warning of this. If in doubt the sale must not be made and identification must be sought.
2. Sufficient supervisors must be employed at events for children.
3. Fire safety and occupancy levels must be adhered to.
4. Special effects must not be allowed and those attending shall be screened for medical conditions.
5. First aiders must be available at all times during the events.
