The premises may be open to residents 24 hours a day
On New Year's Eve from the end of permitted hours on New Year's Eve to the start of permitted hours on the following day.
Alcohol may be sold or supplied to residents at any time. (See Annexe 2, condition 1).
ANNEXE 1
MANDATORY CONDITION: WHERE LICENCE AUTHORISES SUPPLY OF ALCOHOL
1) No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:-
() at a time where there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence , or
() at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his/her personal licence is suspended.
2) Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
ANNEXE 2
CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Conditions transferred from the Residential and Restaurant Licence
Suitable beverages other than intoxicating liquor (including drinking water) shall be equally available for consumption with or otherwise as an ancillary to meals served on the premises.
Conditions From Operating Schedule
(a) The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
There must be a 24 hour recording CCTV system. Cameras must be situated in main internal areas and outside to monitor activity. This CCTV system must be upgaded to a digital system within 18 months.
(b) Public Safety
There shall be a contract with a fire alarm company. There must be a push button activated system with 4 breaker points. This shall upgrade to the full L2 system by Spring 2006. External lighting will be well marked with clear escape routes.
(c) The Prevention of Public Nuisance
Notices must be displayed requesting guests to exit the building quietly. Waste and refuse must be collected in daylight hours. All bins must be secured.
(d) The Protection of Children from Harm
ID shall be requested from persons purchasing alcohol. All staff must be given formal notice of this.
Conditions transferred from the Supper Hours Certificate
Alcohol may be sold or supplied for one hour following the end of permitted hours and on Christmas day, between 3pm and 7pm to persons taking table meals in the premises in a part of the premises usually set apart for the service of such persons and for consumption by such a person in that part of the premises as an ancillary to his meal. For other purposes or in other parts of the premises the permitted hours shall continue to apply.
Restrictions Transferred From The Restaurant And Restaurant Licence
The restrictions related to the permitted hours do not prohibit:
(a) during the first thirty minutes after the above hours the consumption of the alcohol on the premises by persons taking meals there if the alcohol was supplied for consumption as ancillary to the meals.
(b) consumption of the alcohol on the premises or the taking of sale or supply of alcohol to any person residing in the premises.
