General
1. Staff shall be trained in the standards required by the relevant legislation.
2. A 30 minute winding down period shall apply after the approved closure time for the supply of alcohol.
The prevention of crime and disorder
1. The company shall monitor the need for a door supervisor and shall take in to account all advice given by the Police.
2. The Manager shall be required to actively participate in and support the local Pubwatch schemes.
3. Text and/or radio pagers, where already used shall be used for any additional hours.
4. Toughened glass is currently used and shall continue to be used during any additional hours.
5. Existing CCTV system shall continue to operate during the additional hours.
6. There shall be no promotions that encourage illegal, irresponsible or immoderate consumption.
Public safety
1. The Licensing Act 2003 shall apply.
2. The Health & Safety and incident reporting system shall operate during the additional hour(s).
3. Reasonable steps shall be taken to recognise the rights of local residents and to encourage customers to leave the premises quietly.
4. Managers shall be required to liaise with local neighbours as part of their duties and resolve any reasonable concerns with the Role in the Community Guidelines.
The protection of children from harm
1. The importance of protecting children from harm shall be supported by the commitment to Health & Safety in the operation and maintenance of the premises.
2. Alcohol must not be served to people who are under 18 years of age. The Manager and staff shall be briefed the importance of their responsibility in ensuring customers are over 18.
3. No adult entertainment must be permitted at these premises.
4. Children under 16 shall be the responsibility of the accompanying adult when using the premises. Staff shall not be in sole supervision of children which shall remain the responsibility of the accompanying adult at all times.
