General
1. The premises shall work in unison with the Police.
2. There shall be ongoing staff training.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. Service shall be refused to a person who is under the influence of drink.
2. There shall be posters displayed regarding drug and alcohol abuse.
Public Safety
1. Recorded music shall be kept at a controlled level and kept in control by management.
2. Refuse such as bottles, food, kitchen waste shall be placed out for collection at a respectable time.
3. The delivery of bottles and other items shall take place at a reasonable time.
4. Noise or vibration shall not emanate from the premises such as to cause persons in the neighbourhood to be unreasonably disturbed. In general terms noise from the premises should not be audible within any noise sensitive premises (e.g. dwelling) with windows open for normal ventilation especially after 11pm. This shall be assessed from the boundary to the nearest residential properties on all sides of the licensed premises. The criteria that shall be operated area:-
(i) Before 11pm - noise emanating from the premises shall not be clearly distinguishable above others.
(ii) After 11pm - noise emanating from the premises shall not be distinguishable above background levels of noise.
(iii) The local authority shall reserve the right in cases of tonal noise and where premises are attached to others (i.e. semi's and terraced properties), to make further assessments from within the residential property.
5. Cooking, noxious or persistent smells from the premises shall not cause a nuisance to nearby properties and the premises must be properly vented.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. There shall be a request with a notice (sign) to remind customers to leave in a quiet manner.
The Protection of Children from Harm
1. The premises shall prevent sale of alcohol to under 18's.
2. There shall be usage of proof of age (i.e. Pass and Challenge 21).
