The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. There shall be comprehensive provision of SIA Registered doorstaff.
2. There shall be an experienced DPS.
3. Responsible drinks promotions shall be monitored by the DPS or a personal licence holder.
4. DPS or personal licence holder and security staff shall patrol outside area of the club after trading to disperse customers away from the area.
5. There shall be continued staff retraining on alcohol awareness.
6. Additional CCTV shall be installed outside to cover Gerston Road and Cost Cutter area.
7. There shall be no entry or re-entry after 2am except for those customers who have left to use the designated smoking area and no drinks shall be permitted in this area at any time.
8. All front of house security staff shall wear reflective jackets.
9. There must be supervision of any queues outside the premises.
10. A CCTV system of an evidential standard must be installed to the satisfaction of the police, and the system to be in operation at all times the premises are open to the public. All recordings from that system must be kept for a period of 14 days and the police to have access to recordings at any reasonable time.
11. Records of staff training shall be kept on the premises for at least 12 months and available for inspection by any responsible authority.
12. Written record of all SIA stewards shall be kept and maintained on a daily basis with full name and badge number.
13. Digital CCTV system shall be operating at all times.
14. When the premises are open after 10pm SIA door stewards must be in place with the ratio of 1 steward to every 100 customers.
15. In the Drift Inn after 10pm only polycarbonate glasses shall be used.
16. In Kiss Nightclub only polycarbonate glasses shall be used after 10pm.
Public Safety
1. There shall be gradual exit from the premises.
2. A full risk assessment shall be constantly carried out.
3. Safety policy shall be kept on site.
4. There shall be signage explaining about CCTV inside and outside the venue.
5. DPS or personal licence holder and security staff shall patrol outside area of the club after trading to disperse customers away from the area.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. Doorstaff shall be on duty until the last customer has left.
2. There shall be keep quiet signs.
3. There shall be a reduction of decibels of music and adjustment to tempo for the last hour.
4. A noise limiter must be installed and set with officers from Torbay Council Environmental Health prior to the club opening.
The Protection of Children from Harm
1. No under 18's shall be permitted on the premises except when attending pre-arranged college parties or foreign student events.
2. Foreign student events shall be restricted to foreign students only and must finish by 2300. In the event that the premises reopen to the general public there shall be a 30 minute break before customers are admitted.
3. All persons attending college parties must provide ID for participation in the wrist band scheme that will operate.
4. Staff shall be fully trained in the Challenge 25 scheme.
5. A refusals log shall be kept on the premises and completed whenever required.
6. Whenever a college party or foreign student event takes place at least one door steward shall be female.
7. All staff working at college parties or foreign student events must be CRB checked.
8. In respect to college parties and foreign student events police licensing must be informed in writing or by email 14 days prior to the event.
9. Persons refusing or unable to provide ID shall be refused entry to the premises.
10. At college parties or foreign student events the DPS or a personal licence holder shall be on duty throughout.
11. No person under the age of 18 shall be employed on the premises in connection with the sale of alcohol.
12. There shall be the use of polycarbonate or plastic glassware only.
13. In the Drift Inn children shall be allowed if accompanied by a responsible adult.
14. In Kiss Nightclub no children must be allowed at any time.
