The prevention of crime and disorder
1. Hotel must be staffed at all times.
2. CCTV shall operate at the premises to include the main entrance/exit.
3. On any occasion that the general public attend a function at the premises and purchase a ticket beforehand a minimum of 4 door stewards shall be employed at the premises throughout the event.
Public safety
1. All drinks shall be served in plastic glasses around the swimming pool area.
2. A duty manager shall provide 24 hour cover to ensure all situations are dealt with in a responsible manner.
3. First Aid facilities shall be available at all times.
The prevention of public nuisance
1. The management shall ensure noise or vibration will not emanate from the premises such to cause persons in the neighbourhood to be unreasonably disturbed.
2. Noise levels shall be monitored daily to ensure the safety of staff and guests.
3. Bottle skips and bins shall not be emptied after 11.00pm.
4. The movement of bins and rubbish outside the premises shall be kept to a minimum after 11pm.
5. Rubbish in the hotel car park and around the outside of the premises shall be cleared daily.
6. Noise or vibration shall not emanate from the premises such as to cause persons in the neighbourhood to be unreasonably disturbed. In general terms, noise from the premises should not be audible within any noise sensitive premises (e.g. dwelling) with windows open for normal ventilation especially after 11pm. This will be assessed from the boundary to the nearest residential properties, on all sides of the licensed premises. The critiera that shall be applied are;
i. Before 11pm - Noise emanating from the premises shall not be clearly distinguishable above other noise.
ii. After 11pm - Noise emanating from the premises shall not be distinguishable above background levels of noise. The local authority shall reserve the right in cases of tonal noise and where premises are attached to others (i.e. semi's and terraced properties), to make further assessments from within the residential property.
7. Bottle skips and bins containing cans or bottles shall not be emptied outside after closing but will be dealt with the next day during normal office hours.
8. Cooking, noxious or persistent smells from the premises shall not cause a nuisance to nearby properties and the premises must be properly vented.
The protection of children from harm
1. Suitable ID must be sought from anyone attempting to buy an alcoholic drink that appears to be under the age of 21.
