The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. The use of class A drugs must not be allowed.
2. The organisation of racist activity or the promotion of racist attacks must not be allowed.
3. The Licensees must not discount drinks or encourage excessive consumption.
4. Entry must not be allowed to anyone who is intoxicated.
5. Service must not be provided to anyone who is intoxicated.
6. Anti-social behaviour must be stopped.
7. Toughened glasses, plastic bottles and safer alternatives where possible shall be used to reduce the effects of violence.
Public Safety
1. The use of class A drugs must not be tolerated.
2. Prostitution of the sale of unlawful pornography must not be allowed.
3. Gaming or gambling shall not be permitted on the premises.
4. The organisation of racist activity or the promotion of racist attacks must not be allowed.
5. The sale of smuggled tobacco and alcohol must not be permitted.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. All necessary measures must be taken to deal with potential nuisance e.g. noise from music, the arrival and departure of patrons and staff.
2. Signs must be near the exit requesting that people leave the premises quietly and to disburse away from the premises as quickly as possible.
3. Levels of sound must be kept to an acceptable level as not to cause a nuisance to neighbours and the general public.
4. All windows and doors must be kept shut during any entertainment.
The Protection of Children From Harm
1. If in doubt age identification must be asked for, e.g. driving licence with photo, passport, proof of age scheme, citizen card, HM Forces ID or any official card bearing a photograph.
2. Persons under the age of 18 shall not be allowed on the premises except members of the family.
