on-going budgetary subsidy from Children’s Services. To
reduce the budget subsidy provided the Local Authority are
consulting on the future delivery of the nursery to inform decision
making.

Reason for inclusion in Forward Plan: The childcare market in Brixham becomes sustainable with a removed/reduced financial subsidy being provided by the Local Authority.
Key Risks: Procurement process results in new alternative providers being identified.
